TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  1. Medical and Legal Transcription Services shall be known as the Service Provider.

  2. The Client is an individual or company who utilises the services of the Service Provider.

  3. An Invoice will be submitted to the Client upon completed tasks by the Service Provider.  Our payment terms are due immediately upon completion unless account facilities have been agreed by the Service Provider.  Payment terms for Clients with accounts are strictly 30 days of invoice date.

  4. Poor audio/digital quality will incur additional charges.  The Service Provider reserves the right to add additional charges depending on the extra time taken if the recording is poor.  The Client will be notified accordingly and given the option to cancel or continue with the transcription.

  5. Late payment of invoices will incur additional charges.  Interest will be charged on overdue amounts at a rate of 8% above base rate on the outstanding balance from the date of invoice until full payment has been received.  A compensation payment will be charged arising from late payment, under the late payment of commercial debt regulations 2002.

  6. We reserve the right to alter turnaround times and rate quoted due to changes in quality, unforeseen circumstances, including illness, quantities, clarity and any other problems not within our control.

  7. The Client assumes full responsibility for ensuring accuracy of services provided.  The Client must inform us in writing within 48 hours of receipt that errors or omissions have occurred and it is the Service Providers responsibility to rectify free of charge.  The Service Provider will not be held responsible if the Client does not provide full instructions.

  8. The Service Provider has full scanning facilities for viruses and all documents are scanned.  We will not open unsolicited attachments and emails that are not self-explanatory.  It is the Client's responsibility to scan emails and attachments received from the Service Provider and we will not accept any liability or responsibility for these.

  9. If you require your typed reports to be posted to you, this will be via first class post. If you need hard copies sent to you faster than first class posts, the additional costs incurred will be paid for by the client.

  10. We have a minimum charge of £20 for transcriptions (1/2 an hours transcription). We reserve the right to charge this amount for all work of ½ an hours duration or less.

  11. Our staff are aware of the importance of maintaining absolute confidentiality. We would be happy to sign a non disclosure agreement or confidentiality statement at your request.
